Bassmaster Magazine has published a Top 100 list for bass fishing lakes in the U.S...

And it's the opening the of the California stream fishing season - general trout season is ON! We summarize the hot spots for trout fishing in Central and Northern California, from the Sacramento River to the Eastern Sierras.

We've also got some tips for early season fishing from local guides. Need some inspiration? How about this 8 pound, 27" hook-jawed rainbow trout caught late last month on the Owens River. Yup, it's time to get out and do some trout fishing!
